Extract from letter sent by family being supported by CD’s Helping Hands

“'Now it is a new year and a new schedule, still lots of travelling. Our other two children are home in Athenry, we were struggling to keep the house in order, and deal with all the travelling. CD’s Helping Hands came out to meet with us, they organized Cleaners, Meal Delivery, Laundry Help and Home Help who picks up and plays with the other kids while we are in Dublin and has offered to be available for any other support we would need. They provided us with a wonderful Christmas Dinner, as we didn’t know until the week of Christmas if we would be at home or in hospital.

“Now when we travel up to Dublin we know that the house is clean when we return, the older kids are home safe and happy and that a healthy meal will be delivered. We expect Brogan to be receiving Chemotherapy for about 2 years and know that the support of CD’s Helping Hands will help us to maintain some normalcy for our other children. I feel they are truly an Extraordinary Charity making sure our family has a normal as possible routine during this very difficult time”

HOW WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
